Visit from A-list actor Liam Nesson......

So a few weeks back I read in the newspaper that actor Liam Nesson would stop by Copenhagen to promote his latest new movie "Taken 2", neatly to say I went off to the cinema to get the very last ticket by luck.

Monday evening I joined with two friends of mine to wait and see if we would get the chance to see Liam before the movie would start. There was not much that made us the more wiser the hours we waited, though suddenly after solid 5 something hours (me with an bladder infection) something happened at the doors. He had arrived and surprisingly he took time to sign autographs for the few fans who didn't have ticket to the movie, but had waited for him just as long inside the cinema. 

I could tell more, though it is late here and I will post more later today..... (it is close to 3am here.... .) but here he is.... enjoy.....

Copenhagen Medieval 2017

Last year I went to Copenhagen Medieval marked, where you can see vikings, knights and battles. I took some photos and have been slow in getting them done, due to new job. Game of Thrones - The Hall of faces exhibition

Friday May 6th 2016, Game of Thrones - The Hall of faces stopped by Copenhagen, Denmark for 4 days show - on the day before the opening, there was a VIP event where Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and USA ambassador to Denmark Rufus Gifford with family stopped by. There was even knights and some fans dressed up as character from the show, like Jon Snow with Ygritte and... one Jaime Lannister, which garned a rather throughout lookover from Nikolaj, which caused a good laugh among the fans. Even more when Nikolaj stopped shortly and talked with the 3 knights, who were in full amour - we are talking real amour here - and Nikolaj couldn't help but take off an helmet, both to admire it but also talking about how heavy the amour is in real life - note: these guys do it for real at shows, so don't try this at home, neither with the flames, as the ladies there know what they are doing. "The Danish Girl" in Copenhagen, Denmark....

So a long while back this year, the filming of the movie "The Danish Girl" took place in Copenhagen, Denmark and I found them filming in a very popular area. At a place called Nyhavn, where not only a lot of Danish people go to during summer time, but also a lot of turist will walk around this area. The only minus on those two days I watched and took photos from the filming was, it was rather cold and dull, yet a bit of sun would shine through. So a lot of respect not only for the crew, actors but also the extras providing as background for the actorts... It was really a treat to see a very large area of Nyhavn transformed into an older Copenhagen harbour as well the customes the extras wore. I was to be an extra in this movie but was not chosen, so I was happy to see the filming and take photos instead.
