30 Seconds to Mars - Concert in Tivoli, Copenhagen, Denmark.

A little detour from my New York photos...

Friday evening the American band 30 Seconds to Mars gave their only concert in Denmark, in Tivoli, Copenhagen. I have to admit I had never heard them before, I only knew of Jared Leto from his acting career (my bad....).

While waiting for the concert to start, I was a tad worried about the weather as it had been forecasted some rain would come a few hours before the concert started. What happens? 15 minutes before the concert starts it pours down. However the crowd just pulled up their hood and stayed to hear the concert.  And just as the band got on stage it stopped raining, it was still windy. However there was nothing to worry about. The energy alone from the band spoke volumen and held all the way through the concert I'm sure.

Sadly due to some malfunctions on my camera (which is in for repair....), low battery as well memory card was used up rather quickly, I didn't stay till the end of the concert.

I did get some photos and here…

Models in New York....

So after a long walk in downtown Manhattan, I walked back to starting point as a twitter friend told me to look for something. When I got to the area of Chelsea Piers, I noticed some people around some benches. When I got closer I saw it was a group of models with a photographer and hairdresser. I asked the hairdresser whom they were doing the photoshoot for and it was pronounced "Fabriatica" something... I should have asked to have it written down, as I have been trying to track down the magazine or internet page, as I wanted to see the outcome of the photoshoot.

While I talked with the hairdresser and told where I was from, he said I was welcome to take photos if I wanted to and with an ok from the model, here are my photos from that encounter. For me it was an special moment, to see a real photoshoot like this in New York.

If you see this model somewhere, please could you give me the link or the name of the magazine, so I can try and get it....? I would love to see the ou…

Morningside Heights.....

Image
One late afternoon I went to see Morningside Heights and found a church - Sct. John Devine Church - and the park behind it.

It may not seem a lot up there, but if you walk around the block, you can see part of the Morningside Heights park and on a clear day see the skyline from an different angle. Or like I did found some afternoon sunset spots in between.....
