December 12th 2012..... The first cold day of December.....

Image
So December 12th 2012... I've seen quite a few tweets and mentions about today's date... For once I've been indoor all day. First it was around -15/-16 degrees / 4 - 6 fahrenheits today, second I was feeling rather run over by a truck, third with the temperatures being this low and it was icey out there on the streets, I figured I would be sensible to stay inside... so I've found some old photos from another cold day back in 2009.... Hope you all had a great 12.12.2012 day :-) Frozen chair on nearby lake - 2009 A bit frosty...

December 11th with some sunshine :-)

Image
So today was a whole lot better than yesterday. The sun was out as I went to nearby city and found this bench all covered up in snow... so with that in mind, I'll spend my evening cozing up on my couch and enjoy an evening on the side of ups....  :-) The sun is peaking through... Snowcovered bench in the sunshine....

Brad Pitt..... Ups and downs.... December 10th.....

Image
sorry to have you stop by, by mentioning Brad Pitt...... still hope you will read todays blog....  So some know, some don't. I've been out of work almost a year now and just like you and a lot of other people, I can have up and downs days.... today it was, shall we call it half a down day... Now before you start thinking oh no... not another one... just bear with me for a moment... and with that instead of mention H... , the D.... , S...... (ok here I'm going a bit out of description .... again bear with me) instead lets use the fictional "Mr. Joe Black" from the movie "Meet Joe Black" who is played by Brad Pitt... (yes I happen to like movies.....) So when I have an day like today - half down day - I usually say "Mr Black" is stopping by... and really, sometimes it is ok to have an day like this. I am not even going to get started on the list of why, because I am pretty fairly sure you get the idea when I mentioned I was out of work......

Snowstorm in Denmar.... December 9th

Image
So yesterday I didn't forget to post, I was just visiting my brother and it turned into staying overnight. I had kept an eye on the weather forecast as there had been talk about a snowstorm would come. And indeed it came... with heavy wind, the snow flew around the landscape and city, so it was hard to even look up. I did get a few photos from outside (camera is not too keen with water/snow and such....). I'm going to enjoy this evening inside with a warm cup of tea and a movie or so... Happy Sunday on this 2nd advent day... It could almost look like the lion is covering for the snow.... it is in front of Glyptoteket - http://www.glyptoteket.com/ The carousel in front of the local city hall in Lyngby earlier today.... Clearing the street for snow... and start all over again tomorrow.... Footprint in the snow...

December 7th, all spining around....

So in front of the local City Hall there is this fair, where you can see the Christmas tree, enjoy a glög (mulled wine you drink at this time....) or let the children ride on this carousel....

From a late walk, I passed this Christmas tree all lit up and I'm sure by now there are quite a few who has decorated their Christmas tree at home... So many lights on the Christmas tree.... One of many Christmas tree I've walked by all lit up in the darkness.... The tree stands in front of "The open air musuem" / Frilandsmuseet
