December the first

It is late evening and December the first is almost over here, closer to the 24th...

I am gong to see if I can do a short post everyday with a photos from the same day till the 24th December. There may be a day or so where I can't post a photo due to other activity and such... so come back and have a look when you can...

Copenhagen Medieval 2017

Last year I went to Copenhagen Medieval marked, where you can see vikings, knights and battles. I took some photos and have been slow in getting them done, due to new job. But here are some and more will be uploaded, as the Medieval will once again open up next weekend. So if you are near, have a look in there... (there is a price for the entry, then you can walk all over the place and look around.... even buy things people have handmade...) "The Danish Girl" in Copenhagen, Denmark....

So a long while back this year, the filming of the movie "The Danish Girl" took place in Copenhagen, Denmark and I found them filming in a very popular area. At a place called Nyhavn, where not only a lot of Danish people go to during summer time, but also a lot of turist will walk around this area. The only minus on those two days I watched and took photos from the filming was, it was rather cold and dull, yet a bit of sun would shine through. So a lot of respect not only for the crew, actors but also the extras providing as background for the actorts... It was really a treat to see a very large area of Nyhavn transformed into an older Copenhagen harbour as well the customes the extras wore. I was to be an extra in this movie but was not chosen, so I was happy to see the filming and take photos instead. High Line - New York, 2013

This is the last part of the train tracks which provided New York with food, which is now preserved and called "The High Line". You should allow yourself time to walk this place, specially doing spring/summer time, I can imagine it must be beautiful right now.... also this is another way of walking in New York above the streets..... there is even plenty of seats around the line, where you can sit down for a moment if you want to... or go up there before it closes and see the evening light....
