PHOTOFANTASTIC

At the race track...... a few photos from the racetrack at Klampenborg, Denmark. Et par hestefotos fra væddeløb på Klampenborg Galopbane med anderledes hestefotos end man ser.

About two weeks ago I was at this horse event Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was with dressage and show jumping, Sunday was terrain jumping. I went with a good friend of mine (thanks for the drive up there). Now mostly when you see photos from events like these you see it in full frames, I wanted to try a different approach - though there are some in full frame - most of them are with the horse in focus... here a few... For to uger siden var jeg til stævne lørdag og søndag, hvor lørdag ved dressur og spring. Søndag var terræn spring. Jeg fik lift af en god ven. Normalt når man ser hestefotos fra stævner som dette, ser man som hel foto. Jeg ville prøve en anden tilgang - dog er nogle i hel foto - er de fleste af mine fotos af hesten i fokus. Her et par stykker... "Full speed ahead" "Guiding hands" "Water dream" "Cooling veins" "Focused" "Flying over" ...

I've been quite busy for awhile and will continue to be so.. However, here are a few photos I've had printed and will be shown both at a gallery/show at a library later this summer.... some of them are off for sale, so if you are interessted in one or two, feel free to get in touch with me... they are in the size 30x44cm (about 12inch x  17inch - I am not entirely good at change to inches....so any mistakes are mine...) A while back I read on facebook that the Danish Parlement are going to shut down the Danish horse police cops. I feel rather sad about this because not only are there "only" 9 horses and 13 riders, but they are doing a pretty good job when they are out there. Sometimes better than the police in the cars. They just connect in a better way with the public people and are a whole lot more visible out there. The department have once been shut down before, now it is happening all over.  I wonder if more would help sign up and show that the riding police are just as good as the police behind the cars or motorcycles... I am not going to line up a whole lot more about it, though I do want to show a few photos from their 10 years anniversary back in 2008, where everyone who wanted to could visits their stables, greet the horses, get a good talk with the police riders. Ok, these photos are from back in 2010, but every year there is this Horse show in Roskilde, where not only variate shows but also showing off the horses as running for best breed and such takes place over a weekend in May. That May in 2010, was a nice one and I got a few good photos. Little boy with his pony Pony games in full speed.... Frieser Stallion.... Same Frieser Stallion... Waiting to get into open arena....
