Walking to the the nearby harbour I found the sun setting and looking closer on the ice, there was people skating on it. It didn't take me long to take the photos of these two in combinations.... As I looked outside in the morning it looked all clear blue sky and sunny, I took a peak outside the window and it was cold, but not as cold as I thought it was. So in late afternoon as I wanted to see how the sun was setting and such, I went off to the nearby lake. While walking in the sun it wasn't too bad with the cold, I got a few photos, the ice was holding, the sun started to set and that was when I really felt the cold winter. I don't need to say I walked home fast to get warm again... Here today's photos... December 25th..... Belated Merry Christmas....

Image
December 24th quite a few of my original plans got changed as I got an offer to tag along with my brother back home, which I was more than happy to do. And since my morning had been a slowly one, suddenly I could see I wouldn't be able to make it in time to do a blog before I left. I had a nice quiet and simple Christmas with my brother and his family in law, now it is 1st Christmas day where people will look and talk about the gifts they got, have a long walk from the Christmas dinner and get ready maybe for the left over.  Sadly all snow melted off and there was not that much snow in Malmoe, Sweden either.... Here a belated  Merry Christmas, the wolf photo is 2 years old, though one of my favorites too. And thank you to those who followed my December post here and shared it....  :-) Simple Christmas tree Nephew with a mini mohawk having a ball at the table...

Footprints in the snow.....

December 11th with some sunshine :-)

So today was a whole lot better than yesterday. The sun was out as I went to nearby city and found this bench all covered up in snow... so with that in mind, I'll spend my evening cozing up on my couch and enjoy an evening on the side of ups....  :-) The sun is peaking through... Snowcovered bench in the sunshine....

Brad Pitt..... Ups and downs.... December 10th.....

Image
sorry to have you stop by, by mentioning Brad Pitt...... still hope you will read todays blog....  So some know, some don't. I've been out of work almost a year now and just like you and a lot of other people, I can have up and downs days.... today it was, shall we call it half a down day... Now before you start thinking oh no... not another one... just bear with me for a moment... and with that instead of mention H... , the D.... , S...... (ok here I'm going a bit out of description .... again bear with me) instead lets use the fictional "Mr. Joe Black" from the movie "Meet Joe Black" who is played by Brad Pitt... (yes I happen to like movies.....) So when I have an day like today - half down day - I usually say "Mr Black" is stopping by... and really, sometimes it is ok to have an day like this. I am not even going to get started on the list of why, because I am pretty fairly sure you get the idea when I mentioned I was out of work......

Snowstorm in Denmar.... December 9th

Image
So yesterday I didn't forget to post, I was just visiting my brother and it turned into staying overnight. I had kept an eye on the weather forecast as there had been talk about a snowstorm would come. And indeed it came... with heavy wind, the snow flew around the landscape and city, so it was hard to even look up. I did get a few photos from outside (camera is not too keen with water/snow and such....). I'm going to enjoy this evening inside with a warm cup of tea and a movie or so... Happy Sunday on this 2nd advent day... It could almost look like the lion is covering for the snow.... it is in front of Glyptoteket - http://www.glyptoteket.com/ The carousel in front of the local city hall in Lyngby earlier today.... Clearing the street for snow... and start all over again tomorrow.... Footprint in the snow...
