On the set of the Danish movie "Spies & Glistrup".....

Image
So about a year and half ago I was on the set of a Danish movie called "Spies & Glistrup". In short it is about two men who changed a lot of things in Denmark, Spies put the charter trip on the marked in Denmark and was also an rather public person - let's just say if you look him up, be over 18 years old.... - and Glistrup, was an totally different person from Spies but they became very good friends, for a while. Glistrup made it as a politican with the motto: no one should pay taxes. The movie itself spands over 3 decades and I was in the 70's. I only made a splitsecond in the movie, but as one of my best friend said - who is also in the movie shortly - we had a great time there and I can remember we - the extras - joked about how our parents dressed back then... and that's one of the good part being an extra when you get the chance to dress differently than your normal clothes. For me though it ended up being a bit more challenging.... I got to wear glas...

NOH8 Campaign, Copenhagen....

I am typing this when I should be in bed and ready for work after a week holiday. However I just want to share this photo before I finish editing the rest from this lovely day. A Twitter friend - Thank you Linda - brought this to my attention to go there and I can say I don't regret it one bit. I was a bit nervous, as I had seen some of the photos on the facebook site and wasn't sure what pose I should do and such. There was nothing to worry about, the volenteers said hi, gave some papers to sign regarding the photoshoot, you get the sign on your face or if you have other ideas for the photoshoot and agreed to do this, you can. Then you line up for the photoshoot and it was not too busy when I was there. Now, as Jeff were giving me the tape on my mouth I totally forgot to tell him I was deaf/heard of hearing, so I showed it to Adam Bouska when he was about to take my photos. He just smiled knowing and give me pointers to the pose for the photos. It went quickly and smootly ...

Copenhagen Gay Parade

Image
First of all, the title says it all and if you don't like it, then don't read further on. However, Saturday 24th August some friends of mine asked if I wanted to join them, which I did. I've seen it 2-3 years ago, so I know it would be big. It was bigger this year, with 20.000 in the parade against last year 12.000. And it was a great parade, in every color, shape, fashion and most importantly love.... Even some of the bigger politicans where to be found in the parade.... Here are some of my photos from the day... if you find yourself in the photo and don't want it up here, let me know and I will remove it asap. Otherwise enjoy... Sort Sol ("Black Sun") concert in Tivoli, Copenhagen, Denmark

I have to be honest, I knew about this band of name, but have never heard them before, so when I saw they were playing in Tivoli a week ago, I lined up and both got to hear their music and got some different kind of photos I haven't done in a long while. Rather challenging on my side I might add. Mostly it was the light setting which gave me the challenges... the band gave a good performance (hey it was my first time seeing them...)... Here some of the photos from the concert... you may notice most of them are of the bassist, since he was on my side of the stage most of the time.... The Raveonettes warmed up before Sort Sol came on stage.... Sort Sol on stage...... Bass on fire
